Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong software development background to partner with development teams and drive engineering excellence across delivery pipelines, tooling, and workflows. This role is focused on development enablement—not traditional infrastructure migration or operations.

You will embed CI/CD best practices, improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enable teams to build, test, and deploy software safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, autonomous, and comfortable owning problems end-to-end—from design through delivery.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Strong software development background (Java/Go/Python), transitioning into DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Proven experience in a development-first DevOps role
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tooling: GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Strong scripting and development skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Experience with automated test pipelines, code quality, static analysis, and software metrics
• Familiarity with cloud-based development environments (AWS beneficial, but not heavy infrastructure)
• Experience with container-based development workflows (Docker)
• Strong understanding of Agile development and modern DevOps culture
• Experience with AI-powered development or DevOps tooling is a plus

• Not focused on infrastructure migration or operations
• Not a traditional systems or network administration position
• Not focused on data centre, hardware, or heavy cloud operations
