We are looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD pipelines, improve automation, and ensure the reliability of production systems. You'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, enhance performance, and maintain secure, scalable environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve build/deployment pipelines.
- Administer Azure DevOps (permissions, branching, policies).
- Support deployments using tools like Octopus Deploy.
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Monitor production environments and coordinate upgrades.
- Implement automation to reduce technical debt and improve CI/CD efficiency.
- Assist with infrastructure management using Chef, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Maintain documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Microsoft system administration experience.
- Active Directory, Windows Server, and IIS knowledge.
- Familiarity with .NET environments and Git.
- PowerShell scripting skills.
- Linux administration experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Chef/Terraform).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in agile development environments.
